I, Librarian has been acquired by a scientific and technology software development firm, Scilico, LLC.

Scilico (scilico.com) specializes in software development with a focus on the quantitative analysis of scientific data. They develop fast applications suitable for a client-server architecture that run on both desktop computers and mobile devices. Their tools of choice include the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP), HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, Bootstrap, SQLite, R, and C.

There will be no change to I, Librarian business model, or my relation with customers and open source community. I am one of the general partners of Scilico, together with three other software development experts, Jeff Bizzaro, Mark Luo, and Prash Suravajhala. Creating a business entity around I, Librarian provides stability and assurances to the future direction of I, Librarian.
